The City Card for Prague
Discover Prague in a relaxed and budget-friendly way with the Prague Digital Pass. This City Pass allows you priority entrance to Prague Castle and the astronomical clock tower. What’s more, entrance to these sights is free, as is a cruise on the Vltava River. In addition, you will get a 10% discount on other attractions, museums and tours in Prague. The Prague Digital Pass is easy to use and saves you the hassle of buying tickets (and queuing) for each attraction separately. This City Card has only advantages and also saves you a lot of money!
The Prague City Pass is particularly suited for Prague visitors who need not see all attractions or museums, but only want to see the highlights. The main advantage of this pass is that it is not restricted to 24 or 48 hours, as many other passes. You decide what you want to see and when, pre-booking or time slots are not needed. This means that you can see the sights at your own pace without being rushed.
Skip the Lines
The Prague Digital Pass (also known as Prague City Pass) allows you to skip the waiting lines and affords fast track entry to popular Prague sights such as Prague Castle, the St Vitus Cathedral and the Astronomical Clock tower.
Highlights
Three highlights of Prague are included in the Prague Pass:
1. Prague Castle
The castle complex is gigantic and includes churches, palaces, towers, courtyards, museums and gardens. The highlights include St Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace and Golden Lane. Every day at noon you can watch the ceremony of the changing of the guard. The Castle is located on a hill and Castle Square in front of the main entrance allows a sweeping view of Prague.
2. Astronomical Clock Tower
Every hour on the hour a short spectacle enfolds: Vanity looks at itself in the mirror, Death pulls a cord, Miser grabs a bag of gold and the Turk shakes his head. Then a hatch opens and the apostles walk around. Climb the astronomical clock tower, part of the Town Hal (free with the Prague Pass), and you can see the Astronomical Clock up close. The view from the tower is breathtaking: down below Old Town Square and the Prague skyline in the distance.
3. Vltava River Cruises
Viewing Prague from the river during a boat trip is one of the highlights of a city trip to Prague. The Prague Digital Pass entitles you to a one-hour cruise on the Vltava River included is an audio guide (in 8 different languages.)
Public Transport
Public transport is not included in the Prague Digital Pass. This is a not a disadvantage because one-day or multi-day tickets for metro, tram or bus are cheap. You can buy them inside the trams or at metro station (payment is by debit or credit card also contactless). Many hotels sell transport tickets at the reception desk. The hop-on hop-off bus is a good alternative for public transport as it stops at all the highlights in Prague.
App with audio guide
The Prague Digital Pass includes an app with audio guide. This allows you to discover more than 100 sights in Prague. Local guides provide commentary and tell you about their secret places. The app also includes walking routes and public transport directions and it can be used offline.
Discounts
After purchase, you will receive a discount code that gives a 10% discount on attractions, museums and tours in Prague. The discount code only works online and not at the entrance to the attraction. This means that you will have to pre-book tickets online for museums and attractions you want to visit. There are discounts for various cycling and walking tours, museums, dinner cruises and excursions to cities and attractions in the vicinity of Prague, such as Karlovy Vary, Kutna Hora, Cesky Krumlov, Terezin concentration camp and Karlstein Castle.
