The National Acheological Museum

Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana
Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana is one of the oldest libraries in Italy and its collection of books and manuscripts is the largest in the world. Admire Breviario Grimani from the 5th century and Fra Mauro’s Map of the World. The building was designed by Jacopo Sansovino, an Italian architect, sculptor and designer of all the building on Piazza San Marco. The National library is an elaborate building with arcaded bays and beautiful frescos.
