Free transportation
With the Copenhagen Card, you can use public transportation in Copenhagen for free. You benefit from free and unlimited transportation on the metro, buses and trains in the region around Copenhagen. That means you can also use the city pass to go to Roskilde and Helsingor (Elsinore). Public transportation in Copenhagen is well organized and you never have to wait longer than 10 minutes for a bus or subway. Also included in the price is transportation from the airport to the city and canal cruise through the canals of Copenhagen or on the lakes near Copenhagen.

With the discount card, you get a free handy map of Copenhagen and a guidebook with information on all participating attractions, museums, restaurants, stores, tours and other activities.

How does it work?
You can order the Copenhagen Card online through our site. When booking, choose a 24, 48, 72 or 120-hour Copenhagen Card and you will receive a voucher that allows you to pick up the city pass in Copenhagen at Copenhagen Airport (Terminal 3) or at the Copenhagen Tourist Information at Vesterbrogade 4A (close to the main train station and Tivoli Gardens). The city pass is activated only when you use it for the first time at one of Copenhagen’s attractions or museums. The card is valid for 24, 48, 72 hours or 120 hours from that point on. Don’t forget to write your name and date on the back of the card!
